This range is specifically designed for infrequent emptying by suction tanker. It is most suited to sites with a high flow rate such as food processing factories, hospitals, prisons etc.
These very high quality separators have been tested to the rigorous EN 1825 test in which a mixture of oil and water is passed through the separator for a minimum 20 minute test period and then samples of the outflow are taken and examined by infra-red spectrophotometry to determine exactly how many parts of oil is in each million parts of water.
The Lamina Filtertrap achieved better than the 25 parts per million required under EN 1825.
We achieve these excellent results with the following features:-
Lamina Flow - The inlet encourages layered, lamina flow causing fast separation of oil and grease even at high temperatures.
Coalescing Filter - The special filter medium separates the fine droplets of oil and grease which pass through normal grease traps.
Positive Trapping - The grease cannot be flushed through by dishwashers or pan-sinks emptying - a common fault with most small greasetraps.
Separate Sediment Trap - Each Tanker-Emptied Lamina Filtertrap is supplied with a separate sediment trap which is installed upstream of the Filtertrap and can be emptied more or less frequently as necessary.
